Jette Lautrup Frederiksen

Jette Lautrup Frederiksen is professor of neurology and founder of the Multiple Sclerosis Clinic and the Optic Neuritis Clinic at Glostrup Hospital, which is now merged with the Danish Multiple Sclerosis Center. Her research originally focused on the relationship between acute optic neuritis and multiple sclerosis, but she is involved in research in many other aspects of multiple sclerosis, including magnetic resonance imaging studies in collaboration with the Functional Imaging Unit at Rigshospitalet (link: www.rigshospitalet/functional imaging unit) and as member of the Magnetic Resonance Imaging in MS (MAGNIMS) network (link: www.magnims.eu/).

 

Main areas of interest include neuroopthalmology with a focus on diagnostic and prognostic measures, cerebrospinal fluid and blood biomarker research, and the conduct of investigator-initiated clinical trials in early MS.
