Per Solberg Sørensen

Professor Emeritus of neurology at DMSC

Per Soelberg Sørensen is professor emeritus of neurology at the Danish Multiple Sclerosis Center. He is the founder of the Multiple Sclerosis Clinic and the Danish Multiple Sclerosis Center at Rigshospitalet, which merged with Glostrup Hospital in 2016. Per Soelbergs Sørensens has headed a large number of investigator-initiated clinical trials and been involved in many industry-sponsored trials. He has been a pioneer in the field of anti-drug antibodies in MS and has initiated a wide spectrum of research at the Danish Multiple Sclerosis Center, including international collaborations in MS genetics and biomarker research.


Per Soelberg Sørensen is chairman of the scientific steering committee of the Danish Multiple Sclerosis Registry (link: http://dmsr.dk/), and is involved in many ongoing studies in the registry. He is also involved in several ongoing clinical trials at the Danish Multiple Sclerosis Center.
